US Military Recon Photo of Ground Zero WTC: Drugwar.com

Editor's correction: Drugwar.com has received two letters in the last two days alerting us to the fact that the following photo is NOT a military photo at all. For example:

"Please make sure you give proper credit to "NOAA," in the story that you have listed in your archive section. It's not a military photo. The Editor of Drugwar.com received an email this morning containing the above photo, with the accompanying message attached:

"A couple of weeks ago, Tower Airlines was flying a complete load of 101st Airborne [Air Assault] troopers out of Newark, and destined for the Mid-East. The pilot contacted New York Center and asked for a special OK from NORAD to overfly the WTC 'Ground Zero' prohibited area. He explained that he would like to show these troopers 'The Why' they were being deployed to Afghanistan. FAA/CENTER/NORAD OK'd the overflight, and an official U.S. Army photographer took this remarkably clear photo of the 'Site'!"

We are unsure of when this photo was taken, but felt that it should be posted, simply to remind us all of just what extremes some people are willing to go to be inhuman. Beside killing thousands of people here, this act lead to yet more death and destruction, accomplishing nothing that is leading towards resolutions of anyone's legitimate or illigitimate problems.
