Midwest Regional Conference - Towards A Sensible Drug Policy: Educating,
Empowering and Encouraging Reform
Students for Sensible Drug Policy will hold
its midwest conference April 13-14 at Loyola University in Chicago.
Among those scheduled to speak at the conference

Richard Glen Boire, Executive Director, Alchemind Society
Chuck Thomas, Director, Unitarian Universalists for Drug Policy
Reform
Salin Muwakkil, Chicago Tribune Columnist
Ben Masel, Civil Rights Activist
along with many others.
A protest against the Higher Education Act,
which prohibits students
with drug convictions from obtaining federal financial aid, is
also
planned for downtown Chicago April 12 in conjunction with the
conference.
