* Saturday, April 27 in Washington Square Park we are having a dress rehearsal for the march from noon to 3pm. Come join the paradep; help pass out stuff; march around town.

Announcing New York City Details for the Million Marijuana March 2002

Saturday, May 4 -- Now on 6 continents, in 200 Cities around the world: Asking that the "new openness" under Mike Bloomberg encompass freedom of expression for an international movement that has no major problems with police in ANY of the other 199 cities worldwide:

Saturday, May 4 --from 11 am to half-past Noon: Gather for teach-in on melatonin, medical marijuana, ibogaine, and the separation of marijuana & hard drugs @ the corner of Broadway and Washington Place
(1 block north of Tower Records @ 4th).

Half past noon: move down to Houston street and Broadway: Sign in and join your contingent.

March steps off the curb at 1 pm sharp.

March reaches City Hall just before 2 PM

March reaches Battery Park around 2:20 pm; Rally with music 'til 6 pm.

March organizers will be available to respond to the recent brouhaha re the Mayor as "Poster Boy," and clarify the distinctions between the New York City Cannabis Coalition and National NORML.

We are also have a mobilization meeting on Tuesday, a stage production meeting Wednesday, and an outreach coordination meeting
Thursday at 6 pm.
