FED DRUG COP KILLS SUSPECT IN STRUGGLE

A drug suspect was gunned down yesterday in Brooklyn by a plainclothes Drug Enforcement Administration agent after a wild car chase and a scuffle, police and DEA officials said.

David Egbert Dewgard, 31, was fatally shot at the corner of New York and Foster avenues in East Flatbush at 11 a.m., during a joint drug task force operation by members of the NYPD and the DEA, officials said.

Three kilos of cocaine were found under Dewgard's car, but no weapon was recovered, police said.
