Golisano Blows Smoke at Medical Marijuana

Marijuana Reform Party of New York Press Release
Sorry this is late, but I was on the road
and I have a VERY small campaign. We got a lot of coverage from
the Golisano flap and also from the debate. Our campaign is catching
on nicely with the media all over the state, except for New York
City..... For example, we had ABC, CBS, & NBC TV at our own
press conference in Rochester on Wednesday.
The first gubernatorial debate can be seen
on line at

Golisano Blows Smoke at Medical Marijuana
Issue
Thomas Golisano, Independence Party candidate
for Governor, has begun to air a new campaign commercial supporting
medical marijuana.
Why now?
The answer is very simple. It is an act of
political opportunism. Golisano is exploiting the suffering of
seriously ill patients for his own political gain.
The reality is that Golisano has very little
chance of winning, despite throwing tens of millions of dollars
away in his desperate quest to unseat George Pataki.
The voters should not be fooled by me
too medical marijuana advocates.
The only way to get the state legislature
to pass a medical marijuana law is to create the Marijuana Reform
Party as an official political party for the next four years by
voting for the Leaf on Tuesday, November 5th.
