March 2002 congressional Research Service
Report-
'Medical Use of Marijuana- Policy and Regulatory Issues'
Dear People:
The first edit of the March 2002 congressional
Research Service report
'Medical Use of Marijuana: Policy and Regulatory Issues' is online
and
available.
http://home2.netcarrier.com/~aahpat/mum32002.htm
I received a copy of the report from my Republican
congressman, Pat
Toomey, as a smoke screen for the fact that he writes me a lot
and says
nothing to me. When I searched for the report at the Library of
Congress
resources so that I could refer others to it I could not find
it
referenced on the LOC main search or through the Congressional
Research
Service special LOC search page. So it is now online. Fresh meat.
It is pretty much everything that we already
know except that this is a
report that is in the congress and produced for the congress and
it
pretty much says 'everything we know'. Since it is essentially
the
current thinking status report of the congress I think it can
be a
valued policy and strategy development tool for the reform movement.
If you see any obvious anomalies please forward
them to me. The first
ten pages could have been edited closer for OCR problems on first
markup. I will be doing additional editing through the week.
Enjoy and please spread it around.
