Meeting With Akha, Heroin Production
Matt McDaniel
March 31, 2002
In a meeting with the Akha today we discussed
the heavy involvement and DOMINATION of heroin production on the
part of the Akha community. Wa and Shan are soon to be removed
and the Akha will partner with the Burmese army as the chief producers
and exporters of the drug. Meth will be a side show as it still
is and may be reduced as heroin in used chiefly out of the region
by the decadent west.
The bulk of heroin exported by the Akha goes
to the US.
The management of that exporting must also
be the US and one can assume the missionaries are still involved
in this.
On one hand they keep the Akha a slave economy
for heroin export, while on the other hand they use the profits
to plow into the mission empire and take away all the offspring
of the Akha as well.
The Akha themselves suffer brutally in between.
Discussions with American personell would
show no indication that they have any interest to finance any
alternatives to the heroin trade, proof that they very much like
it.
